Democratic Republic of Congo: Olapade Excited ahead of 2021 Golf Open DE Kinshasa.

Sunday Olapade is motivated by recent performances as he prepares to tee it up in the 2021 Golf Open De Kinshasa  starting 17th to 19th September. 
 
The 30-year-old has been in impressive form this season, with a top 5 finish at the AGECARE CHARITY golf tournament, having previously won the 2021 HSDGC Classics in Bayelsa which included a round of 67 on the final day,  but believes there is still plenty of room for improvement in his game, leaving him excited for the days ahead.
 
“I think I have a whole lot to improve on, in my opinion but I’m still very excited to be here to compete against the some of the best professionals in the region” Olapade told 9jagolf.com.ng in a chat.
 
“It  is certainly a good preparation for me coming out here because the standard is so high, and the challenge over there is also very inspiring. It’s so competitive and a lot of guys at Ikoyi Club plays very good”. Speaking on the “Road To Dubai” weekly kitty event being played by the Ikoyi Club 1938 Golf professionals Olapade Said 
 
“I still believe I can make it to the  top of the leaders board here in Kinshasa, I just have to try and finish as high up as I can and see where that leaves me at the end of the week.” he said further.
 
The event is one of the biggest  for  professional golf associations  in the region with an €8,000. Euro prize money at stake for the winner.
 
 It  is  a yearly  regional golf event for  professional Golf development, that allows for  connecting  with  other golf & non-golf  association  professionals.    At  this  annual  tournament,  Kinshasa Open offers  high  quality  golf  programmes  designed  to  strengthen  associations and professional  golf in the region and Africa as a whole. 
 
 Zimbabweans TC Charamba and  Liberty Gumisa are also joining the field this week as they also look to forward to cementing a victory.
 
The action gets underway today as the professionals battle for the juicy prize at a a Golf Club Du Kinshasa, in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
